These Terms of Use govern your use of TransmissionControl (the "App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these terms.

1. The App

TransmissionControl is a remote-control client for Transmission servers. It is an independent application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Transmission or its contributors.

The App connects only to servers that you configure. You are responsible for the server, its security, your network connection, and all activity performed through your account.

2. Acceptable Use

You may use the App only in compliance with applicable law and the terms that apply to your Transmission server, network, and any content you access. You must not use the App to infringe intellectual-property rights, bypass security controls, interfere with another person's systems, or otherwise cause harm.

3. Purchases and Subscriptions

The App may offer Pro features through in-app purchases, including auto-renewable subscriptions and a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices, billing periods, and included features are displayed in the App before you confirm a purchase.

Payments are processed by Apple and charged to your Apple Account after purchase confirmation. Auto-renewable subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.

You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account subscription settings. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its applicable policies. Restoring purchases is available through the App where supported by Apple.

4. Availability and Changes

We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time. Features may depend on your device, iOS version, network connection, and the compatibility and availability of your Transmission server. We do not guarantee that the App will always be available or operate without interruption.

5. Your Data and Backups

The App stores its settings and server credentials on your device. You are responsible for maintaining backups, protecting access to your device and Transmission server, and verifying any action performed through the App. We do not operate a Transmission server or host your torrent data.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, its design, and its original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Subject to these terms and Apple's usage rules, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control.

7. Disclaimers

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We are not responsible for the availability, security, performance, or content of your Transmission server, internet connection, or other third-party services.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or access arising from your use of or inability to use the App. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

9. Apple Terms

These terms are between you and the App's provider, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Your use of the App is also subject to Apple's applicable terms and usage rules, including the Apple Standard EULA.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect means that you accept the updated terms.
